Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2720 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 2720 is a dual task level, you have to collect the two cherries and clear all the jelly to complete the level.
This is all about collecting keys, collect the keys and the cherries will drop out of the exits without any further trouble and while you are collecting the keys the jelly will almost always be cleared by your moves.
Colourbomb/stripe combos are probably the best combos to use, but make sure there are candies of the right colour in line with the keys so it isn't wasted.
Stripes on the conveyor can be used also, but you can waste a lot of moves getting them into position.
It isn't hard to make stripes and wraps as there are only 4 colours on the board, but getting the specials into a position where they are helpful can be tricky.

Regarding your comments, I think I just have a knack of solving levels in Candy Crush Saga. When I see a new level, I get the idea of how to go about solving it, so I completed most of them on the 1st try. That is without the benefit of Cookie’s tips or comments from the other crushers because they are not available then. There are other good crushers there (Gil, Sharon, Carlton, PH, Bill to name a few) who also complete most levels on their 1st attempt but they play mostly on mobile which is 2 episodes behind the PC. If they play on the PC, they can possibly get ahead of me.
I use boosters to get over some levels if a few boosters will help complete them so as not to replay them. I have never spent even a penny buying from King ever since I play this game. If I need extra time or moves I pay them with gold bars from sugar drops .
I usually post the preview of the next episode and some tips on the last level of the latest episode, since the blog for the next episode is not yet available. To the other crushers who found my tips helpful in completing some levels, I do appreciate your feedback. I’m glad I was able to help and I’ll continue doing so despite some negative comments.
Rick, I think that you should appreciate that Candy Crush is only 20% skill and 80% luck! There are some boards where there is no way that you are going to pass the level on the first try, especially the hard ones. So I don't think that you should take the credit for using your 'skill'!
Thanks Rick for your help and I do appreciate it when you can give us a few points to remember to help us with a level along with Cookie's tip when available (and others also on earlier levels). I'm not as good as you when it comes to analysing a board before playing it the first time, but I do believe some people have that capacity to do so. There is surely ways to make boosters by playing sugar drops, helmets, etc which have to be use now for mostly every levels - that's what I have to do also (although boring). King is also giving us opportunities to earn free boosters as long as in every episode and after we're done with one. So the rest is all ours ... Rick, Cookie, Sharon, etc ... thanks and please keep helping us with the tips. DMO
I just completed level 2735 with the help from tons of boosters

I was "lucky" I was able to complete all the levels (2721 to 2735) in the next episode all on the 1st try. The hardest level I think is 2729. I thought I won't be able to complete it on the 1st try. A check candy booster here will help. Level 2722 is the easiest.I completed it in one move with a CB combo. In 2730, use a fish booster because there are inaccessible jellies on the top left and bottom right. In 2731, drop the cherries right away to the conveyor. It takes at least 19 moves for the last cherry to go around the conveyor to the exit on the top left corner. A CB combo will drop the cherries to the conveyor right away. Avoid hitting the bobbins while the cherries are on the conveyor on the right side. The fish will zero in on candies below the cherries which will cause them to drop. In 2732, you have to collect the keys although it will only unlock the licorice on the lower left to fall on the top right corner, because that is also the source of candies which you need to match on the upper right corner to clear the jellies. There is no jelly on the lower left corner. The mixer will convert the candies into licorice every now and then.
I am away from home and using our clubhouse's computer (not my home computer) and I was surprised my boosters are carried there. I know on mobile the boosters reside on individual devices.

This seems to be Ricks page.appreciate for being a sincere crusher.and also your tips. Some players still didn't have space dash in their device what they use. If anyone has reached to this level without using space dash they are real crushers and we can reward them.All others use cc combo and finish .Cc has become a boring game.Still we play.

The Space Dash makes it truly easier to complete levels but it's not a guarantee that you can complete any level on the first try, especially with a cc combo. Try using a cc combo in level 2718 and see what happens.
I can't understand why King introduced the Magic Helmet and then the Space Dash which make completing levels much easier, although the levels are getting harder that it is really almost impossible to complete them without using boosters. It is counterproductive to their bottom line because less crushers will buy boosters or extra moves or times to complete a level to move on. King did it maybe to make the others who have quit to come back and prevent others from quitting the game.
I've got a glitch my cherry will not fall down anyone else having this problem
I had a problem with Win 10 tablet today. It showed level 2736~2750 as available, but the new episode was grayed out. I could not advance to level 2736. Tried to quit program; tried to reboot tablet; tried to kill candy crush process on cell phone; made sure no update available.
Finally decided to reset the APP(not uninstall, just clear Win 10 APP data). Before reset, it was using 3D map that I could not zoom it, with this map, I can scroll really fast, whenever I finished a sugar drop level, it won't jump back to last level, it did not disable any episode after playing it. But I could not tap a player or myself icon to see progress(only place still worked was leader board).
After reset, it went back to old style 2D map, I could zoom it. All boosters were reset to 0 as expected. It jumped back to last level after playing a sugar drop level and it disabled the episode just played. I could tap player icon to see progress.
After I played about 3 levels with old style 2D map, it switched back to new style 3D map by itself. Surprisingly, I got all my boosters back with boosters before and after reset combined. So either CC now stores booster number for each device on server, or APP reset did not fully wipe out all APP data. -PH
Before reset, played 2735 several times and then tap "Next" hoping it would advance to level 2736, it did not.
For star contest, new level stars used to be doubled, for example, 3 stars would be counted as 6. But now, new level stars for me are multiplied by 10. I was always wondering how can some players get over 10K stripes during stripe contest, may be they have higher multiplier? After reaching Cake island due to CC glitch (It advanced two islands for one contest, one island advance from Win 10, the other from Android), I was not able to keep staying on the island(Not worth it for me anyway, I don't want to join the contest but it put me in after initial 10 stripes even after I close the contest window) PH
I've been wondering where the Analyst PH was.
I used three lollipop hammers level 2720 on the last two keys and cherry just to be finished with this episode. The episode of keys! At least there were no "Evil Spawners". Finished every level first try except for level 2714 which took three tries. After which I went shopping. Til next Wednesday.

Been playing this game a long time, hard to give it up...but it's just not fun anymore.

Hi Sharon how are you doing. I am now playing on win 10 tablet which is two episodes ahead of mobile. I found it is much less fun than playing along with other players here, but i could not resist playing new levels for two weeks to sync up with mobile release. PH
I love reading the helpful comments here, as well! However, I have found it frustrating lately because there seems to be two camps now: those who have space dash and those who don't. I am one of the players without so I can't easily start with a CC combo. Candy Crush says that they randomly give out incentives and such so I keep earning boosters but that gets boring. Anyway, I got where I am in CC by enjoying this blog. Diane

I replayed it on my Android tablet and completed it with 12 moves to spare by starting with a color bomb/stripe combo. I think it is better than a color bomb combo because the keys at the corners can get multiple hits which will free the crated keys and collect them, which will then unlock the cherries to fall. There are jellies underneath the cherries and they are hard to clear because they are isolated. I think I got lucky also because I got color bomb/wrap combo which cleared much of the jellies. You can throw in a fish booster to get those isolated jellies.
I started with a speckle next to a stripe mating the locked keys and all the isolated boxes were cleared so it was just playing as usual to clear jelly. Now I have to wait until next Wed. So Rick's tips won't help because they aren't on the level page when I get there. I'm not obsessed enough to take notes and never waste time on stars or major contests.
Without any booster, you will need to make color bomb yourself. The best level for me to practice making CB is 654. Let conveyor to align one of end candies, you move in middle one. This level is much more difficult, but doable either on conveyors or two perpendicular lines. PH

Space dash has two more sets of boosters than the magic helmet, so you have five total levels. You can have two color bombs and two sets of wrap/stripe along with the three extra moves.

Passed it on iPhone which gives a much easier level - no cream blockers and the candies are not locked behind licorice. Had to use the full UFO booster to start it though.
Several levels back, UFO was really helpful. Just played level 2000 again because I had to clear APP cache/data last Wednesday,not surprisingly, I got a full set of boosters again including UFO and paintbrush. If you have to reinstall CC or clear cache(I suspect that some users have junk cleaner does it automatically) for whatever reason, remember to check out level 2000 again to see if you can have UFO. PH
levels passed the 1st try now have golden crowns on it. I don't like seeing all these levels turning golden with crowns on it, it is ugly. PH
some people play on multiple devices for sugar drops. it looks like that 8 hour lock is for account, not just for the device gets over 180 drops. what you can do is to make sure that all your devices start last big drop level at same time, and claim final rewards same time to maximize rewards for all devices. PH
Rick How can you look at the game to get an idea of how to play it, then complete it 1st time ? Sorry don't get it.
Most people have to play the game at least one time to get n idea of how it works.
Why don't you set up your own site ? this one must make a fortune and you are always ahead of it.

I am just stating some obvious points to look for:
1. Check the goals first: jelly, order, or points
2. Check blockers: Licorice, Chocolate, Icing, Popcorn, etc
3. Check where is exit, portal, conveyor, frog, cake, Mixer, dispensers etc
4. Rule for Licorice and chocolate, Mixer: Hit it to stop it growing/counting/dropping, so plan carefully for each step
5. Rule for score: Always try to take out timer bomb color by color bomb. Score order always needs to survive to the end.
6. Rule for fruit order: Plan exit route carefully, know where it might stuck
7. Spend a few seconds to scan layout before making any move(except timed levels), if you are intimidated by the layout/goals, hit back button, you won't lose life(for both PC and Mobile now, PC used to lose life), re-do it until you got favorable layout or you load helpful boosters: fish is usually helpful for jelly, wheel is usually helpful for fruits.
8. Rule for fish: Save it until you have cleared easy jellies.
9. Rule for color bomb/Stripe comb: Make sure target is covered by more than one stripe color candies. One has only 50% chance, 3 candies guarantee a stripe in desired direction.
CC is making new levels too difficult without magic helmet or space dash. With helmet/dash, it is pure abuse of boosters. Hope CC can find right balance for all players, with or without helmet/dash. PH
Let's use level 2720 as example for how to "look" at a game:
Keys obviously, one thing to note is that you can't make horizontal stripe at top line, and you can't make vertical stripe at right edge, there is no conveyor to help, so there is no easy way to hit upper right corner key. so you know that CB/Stripe is the only viable solution(better than CB/CB comb or wrap/stripe comb, both are difficult to make) and all your game plan would be try to make CB/Stripe comb and make sure 3 or more same color candies on top/right edge to take out the most difficult key. PH

Never have I seen such a rediculous Level. Video and game level have different moves. So not helpful when trying to get tips to pass the level. Ready to leave this game because it has such a negative spin on the game. Fed up and ready to go. Goodbye King.

Victoria. Once you get the keys. To get bottom right cherry to fall down you have to remove upper left candy. For other cherry you have to remove bottom right candy. Not as easy as Cookie makes it out to be. Wasted a few hammers figuring this out.

Hi everyone played this level off and on yesterday and today, I got the keys with a colorbomb and stripe, that I made on this level which also brought the cherry down,
I was down to my last move needed to get a few jelly’s
So I used my hammer 3 times and passed this level took me awhile but it was fun afterward my treasure chest opened and won some boosters, good luck all and you will pass👍
I can't even get all the keys most of the time. I wish we still had the infamous space dash or somebody hat which seems to have made things a lot easier. We can't even collect cany crown levels now. I need a lucky board please king.
