Candy Crush Saga level 964

Tips and help for level 964 Candy Crush Saga
Collect the 5 keys to unlock the two coconut wheels, get them together by matching the candy between them, then switch the two coconut wheels together.
The resulting stripes will clear lots of cream blockers and then it's combos all the way to get the two nuts down.

Got frustrated with this one getting close but just running out of moves...so tough with all that icing on sides...If you cannot get ingredients near middle very tough...With so many hand switchs collected in Sugar Drop Booster rewards I used 2 at end & moved last nut over 2 spaces toward center & had wrap match hit at bottom single block to exit with 1 move left....gonna go close out this torture episode for me...Thank God for all the free sugar drop boosters

Not enough moves. Even swapping the coconut wheels and getting the ingredients towards the middle of the board and two wrapped/striped combos and a colour bomb/striped combo not enough to clear this level. The problem has been getting horizontal-blasting stripes to the bottom of clear cream under the ingredients. I even tried getting rid of as much cream below the coconut wheels before freeing them so that there would be stripes in the rows near the bottom, but that too has not worked. The problem is not the cream on the sides, but at the bottom.

Used a coconut wheel from my stash, plus got the other two coconut wheels together. It was fireworks. Got three more wheels and it was good for three stars. If you have coconut wheels use them. Took two tries but it worked

Easy one. First try, thanks to the tips.

Don't use the coconut wheels together I used them horizontal to clear t h Ed bottom. Took quite a few games though

Took a few tries but resting the board till either you could unlock licorice at top either with match or coconut wheel opening , then work specials till you unlock keys and use board tip to combine coconuts. Finall, had to do a hand switch one one side but finished 3 starts.
Coconut wheel definitely the route. As Jane said, if you have a stash use it! And Cat great tip on using hand switches!
Lick to all!
Moving to last level in this episode and then the wait....

I agree, haven't got it out yet but combining the wheels doesn't seem to be doing any good. I was one move away once so it is a doable level. AJ

Took me a few lots of 5 lives but got there with no boosters in the end. I did not combiner he wheels but used the to create verticals as at the end of the day you need to get past the bottom layer to win. AJ

I mean I did not combine the wheels - my big thumb on my small I-phone is an issue. AJ

Gosh, I've been on this level all night and have yet to even drop one fruit...how am I ever going to get all two at this rate??? Need lot's more moves...

Thanks all for the tips! The trick is definitely clearing all the bottom cream before unlocking the coconut wheels. Then combine the 2 coconut wheels. After that, my 2 ingredients were at the bottom with just 1 layer of cream left to pop underneath, and with clear sides. They were very easy to pop at that point. Finished with 10 moves left, 3 stars, didn't have to use any of my free boosters!

Excellent tips here! Got this first try. Thought I'd try putting the 2 wheels together on the first try. That worked wonderfully then another wheel appeared and cleared more cream. Chocolate/ stripe once helped as well. Lucky enough to get 2 horizontal stripes to go across the bottom which cleared the last of the cream. Thank you all for the great tips!

Clear the keys and combine the two coconut wheels then horizontal combinations needed. Quite enjoyable took five attempts.

Best tip I have here is to focus on clearing as much cream at the bottom before unlocking the licorice. Once the fruit falls it's going to be hard to clear that cream at the bottom.
Also I found the coconut wheels more effective as vertical stripes as opposed to combining them. This way you can remove two layers of cream at the bottom.

Finally, after many tries, i read the tips. They worked like a charm, got it within two attempts after that. Focus on clearing the bottom creams, and then combinging the two coconut wheels. Thanks for the tips!

I DON'T NEED THE FISH! STUPID WHEEL NEVER GIVES ME WHAT I NEED!

All the action happens at the top! May as well forget it. Not gonna happen for 100 more plays.

Anonymous said...

Ha! Got it with three stars and lots of moves left! Thanks!

Cream is quite easy to eat away at. It also seems like verticals are easy to make. You have to unblock as much as possible including taking care of the bombs, and get the fruit into one of the slots diagonal to it. Then try to unblock the jelly on the very bottom twice with a stripe or wheel and it'll go through the portal.

Sorry, this was for the level before. Probably my post on 963 was also for the wrong level lol.

This one is a bear! It's hard to get the bottom cleared! Bleh...

After MANY attempts, I finally cleared this level. I had the moves to manage to clear most of the candy at the bottom and that definitely made a difference. I was also using a wheel from one of my daily spins, but that hadn't really helped much until I was able to clear the bottom two rows. Good luck!

Rather frustrating level but contrary to what others thought, I actually found the wheels mixed together to be quite helpful. It's important to unlock the fruit as soon as possible, then match some candy diagonally below so that it falls down. It's more useful if you can keep switching the fruit towards the centre, but the good thing is that specials can be made quite easily this level.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who found this 'easy' level a little difficult (since King has decided to label the levels they consider hard, I can only suppose the rest are a piece of cake). I'm playing around Halloween and we are being gifted with a sprinkle ball on every level for 2 days(my thanks for that!) so I've been starting with that booster every time and still have been playing this level for quite a while. I finally decided to just work the bottom as much as possible and let the licorice and the keys take care of themselves. I'm also playing on my phone so I backed out of games until my sprinkle ball was near the bottom and there was at least one other play to make around there. That finally worked for me. The coconut wheels ended up dropping down a few notches too so when they went off they cleared a lot of the bottom. As always, thanks for the tips!

Firstly you have to be able to make moves to clear the bottom.........if that does not happen you are up the creek without a paddle game after game. It comes down to a lot of luck, not much else will help here :(

Well, this is getting a bit tedious. No where near as easy as it first looks, after lots & lots of attempts I am still getting no where. I have tried the tips above but no luck at all. Looks like it going to be another stinker that requires a lucky board........

setting off the two coconut wheels did it for me. the resulting cascade gave me two sprinkles which I was able to position together, that cleared one ingredient. then made moves to get a vertical stripe to get the other one. Had no luck with this level until I was able to set off the two wheels together, so that is a valid tip from previous comments.

I am playing this game on an Ipad 2 with all OS updates and game will not load. Just says loading and then goes back to the Ipad cover page. I close all other apps. I have plenty of memory. The CCS page is there when I close apps, but it is black with only a few icons. I have turned the Ipad off many times, nothing helps. The funny thin is it says Level 961 on the parts that are readable. Any one else have these issues? I can play on my computer, but prefer the IPad since I have lots of lives on there.

To the January 18th poster, yes, I had probablems in general with 961... I did all you did and short of un and re installing CC because I know from past experience I would lose all my life's and goodies nothing helped This level was so weird that I was getting free moves from friends for the next level, 962... I finally beat it, pure luck, and have moved on to this level which is fun but it sure wants me to use up my few freebies... And I also play only on my iPad...

Day 2 of this level now and I'm losing the will to even look at what I'm doing anymore. Tried every combination under the sun but no go!

Anonymous said...

This is not an easy level. It's almost impossible to get all the bottom creams, just not enough matches. The closest I have come is get just one of the nuts. Looks like I may be on this one for awhile. :-( FRUSTRATING!

I love this site. The hints are so helpful. I used the coconut wheels together and got this on my second try. I am the one who just posted the above post. Thanks crushers for your tips.

Nowhere near enough moves !!! FGS
This level is designed to make you buy extra moves
Sucky stupid level

Even combining the coconut wheels makes no difference
Another case of waiting for a lucky board
Yawn

Dumbest level ever, it's nearly impossible to clear this level without booster, am not going spend even penny for this, so it looks as if am going to stop playing this

Lorraine said...

Ridiculous and boring. Not enough moves for that amount of blockers . Getting ready to delete .
