Tips for level 382 Candy Crush Saga

First you need to get a vertical stripe down the middle to uncover the stripe/wrap combo at the bottom... Match those and that will clear all the licorice in the middle and some from the sides..

The best combo after that would.
be stripe/colour bomb but make sure you've got some of the colour of your stripe in the bottom sections to help clear licorice and jelly...If you can get horizontal stripes into the middle bottom that will also help to clear the sides...

Thanks for your useful tips!
I arrived on this level today and thought it was impossible. So I came for advice.
1- Start with a sprinkle candy one first move use it to unfreeze the wrapped and stripped candy of the middle part 2- check if some sprinkle candy are possible.
There should some opportunities to build special candies
3- unfreeze and use the wrapped + stripped combo of the middle asap
4- try to have wrapped candy on the sides to destroy licorice I was lucky having 2 wrapped candy to finish the left side Have some luck Merry Christmas

No comments? Really? Am I the only one who' s been stuck on this level for days? Even with combos it's never good enough. And I never thought I would ever say this, but I start to really hate chocolate.

Nope, you're not the only one. I came on here to see if anybody else can help with strategy and it feels like I'm going to be stuck here for a long time.

Anonymous said...

Me too. The lack of comments is down to the number of people stuck on 377. That was a bitch!

Stuck in this level close to 3 weeks

Effing level! Doing my head in. Can't make enough combos to clear the bloody licorice.

Awful little level!!!! I hate it been stuck almost a week and a half! I'm worried this will be the level I say screw it and quit!

Not sure if this is just an android issue...but even with a vertical striped clearing the stripe/wrap combo in the center.....the combo clears NONE of the licorice. I keep thying to hold off on using the combo until the licorice is cleared...and tbe use the combo to clear the remaining jellies.....no luck so far......

yup this level sucks especially for Android the stripe/ wrap combo in middle don't clear any licorice! I have gotten as close as 1 jelly left! that was about 50 lives ago.Arrrggh..

The lack of comments on this level is very telling. It is a very difficult level. There are two kinds of frustrated board posters: those who are pissed and threaten to quit; and those who have really had it with the frustration and quietly quit and move on to something else.

It baffles me why there are not tio many comments and tips were posted for level 382..that was a killer level! I was stuck for days here!
I got a lucky board really. What happened to me was when I started i got 4 color bombs in a row. I eliminated colors fast and paved a way for me to clear blockers and jellies and licorice in the left and right side of the board.
I also made 2 wrapped combos in the middle part that cleared it.
Then made good combinations to clear 2 jellies in the left side.

Some useful tips are: this helped me to clearing with just a jelly left
* make a vertical striped candy to unfreeze the wrapped + striped combo in the middle part. Use it right away before it blasts accudentally. This woud clear the middle portion and remove licorice in the right and left side. You haveto remove licorice so combos would work.

* Make another wrapped + striped combo near the chocolate fans. Believe me there are lots of opportunities to make special combos. This would clear some pesky chocolates and clear the blockers covering the right and left side.

* wrapped + wrapped combo or two of it can easily clear jellies and licorice.
Color bomb + striped combo can be helpful too. If you don't have this combo just eliminate an of color that does not accidentally blast of your special candies or else you are back to square one.

Good luck! Oh if you continue playing endlessly you are given a board that is very passable. Happy crushing! Thanks for the tips! -LEI

I have been stuck for over a month. I have had every combo you can imagine. Get down to 2 jellies left and run out of moves. I swear its unbeatable.

I just finished this level with 3 moves left but did it on laptop and found the licorice was removed more easily than on iPad where most of the time I could not get close so my hint for level 382 is to try on laptop or desktop. Good luck everyone

I read the comments after trying 3 times.. thought I'd be here awhile, but got it in about 8 lives.. thankfully it was easy to make speckled candies.. that combined with a couple of wrap/stripes.. must be my lucky day~

After being stuck for WEEKS on my phone I pulled out the laptop and passed it on the 2nd try. My hint is do it on the laptop. It seems much easier there for some reason.

I have been stuck on level 382 nearly a MONTH now. Nothing works. There is definitely something wrong. Why doesn't tech support fix it?!?!?!?

Play it on the PC where the striped wrapped combo in the middle block takes out more of the side liquorice.

I played it in my iPhone and iPad, and middle combo strategy didn't clear any black licorice. Tried many ways but in my case what worked was:

Focus on side blocks of left and right and get rid of licorice as soon as possible. I didn't mind the middle down at first because there is no chocolate there, so leaving wrapped or strip candies until I get out licorice, at least most of them.

Once there is no licorice, color bombs or combination of any special candies can easily get rid of jellies.

If you start with bad board, just discontinue after 30 moves.

In my case I didn't start unless I found a color bomb from the start. Then combo with stripe if possible. After that I made wrapped candies first before stripe, cause wrapped candies can destroy more if near the blocks. If far from blocks, then combine with stripes. Or color bomb combo. I had 6 moves left when cleared all jellies but I got stuck for 2 days!

There are many times I needed just 2 or 3 moves to clear all jellies, but since I don't pay, so I just quit. It's a level created for that purpose: need few more moves, and people get tempted to pay, I think.

I just finished this level.
Here's how I did it:

I waited for a board where I get a sprinklet candy by the first move, after that, with a little luck, I just got a second sprinkled. After that combo its quite easy if you don't get too enthusiastic (is this a real word in english???) with a few combos and luck again I finished it with 5 moves left.

it took me longer than most levels.

I don't mind being stuck for a while on a level if I can see that I can win eventually. This one is impossible. I play on iPad. When I match the striped and the wrapped candies in the middle, it does not even clear the jellies next to it, and certainly not the licorice in the side sections as indicated by someone earlier. I've had a color bomb with a stripe, two color bombs together and other specials in the same game and it did not do that much. Anyone with the same problem?

Had to use some of my free boosters to get thru this one ( after weeks being stuck). Used the fish and 2 lollipops. Saved the middle combo until I had the sides almost licorice free. The double wraps are the best.

There us definitely a bug in the ipad version, so I do not know how I will ever do this level. I had cleared the middle jelly section with a pkg/stripe combo so only jellies with candies were in it. I then set off the pkg/stripe combo in it again, and no jellies popped and no side licorice were cleared!! I thought this had been my imagination before, so I was watching closely while doing this, so I am not mistaken. Very frustrating. I have also noticed that sometimes when I blow a stripe it only clears a couple jellies when it should have done more. Unless an update fixes this, I am going to be done with candy crush, but not by choice.

Finally conquered this level. It's much easier on PC vs iPhone. Lots more choc bombs. Even two together!

I agree with the middle combos doing nothing! I've had every combo there is and have never gotten close. Are all the levels after this as bad as the ones before? If so, I'm not going to even bother.

1st time writing here but i had to, this works! I found the easiest way to pass this level is to get two chocolate balls together. This will blast the board & get rid of the licorice & 1st level of jelly. There are plenty of opportunity to make the chocolate balls. Then make strip or wrapped candies two clear the rest. I tried this board probably 40 times before I realized I wasn't approaching it correctly. It took me 3 attempts after I got the concept. Don't worry about trying to open up that wrapped & stripped candy at the bottom, it's a distraction.... Not important. I earned 3 stars.

Play this level on a PC. After being stuck for 3 months while playing on my iPad. I read the comments above and though to give the PC a try. Low and behold after one attempt I made it pass this stupid level... HOW COME candy crush is so much easier on a PC with all the boosters u have available.

Anonymous said...

This level sucks, I have used all the different types of combos and played over 200 lives, come close with two jellies to crush, definitely designed to make you buy some combos. Refuse to buy any

Frustrated

General comments: by now players should understand that licorice will block a blast from any combination. A blast will take out the first licorice, bot nothing beyond it.

And, people, please . . . The word is striped - NOT STRIPPED. The candies have not removed their clothing!

I must have got lucky. I got it on my third try. I followed the advice above and focused on the wrap and striped at the bottom. I played from the bottom but kept the chocolate under control. I got two choc sprinkles which I combined with striped.

Much easier on PC seem to get chocolate bombs more frequently.

This blog is the BEST! I was stuck for days, using many different strategies to no avail feeling frustrated a nd close to saying goodbye CC. Read the advice on blog to play game on PC instead of tablet. Finally passed this level, Yay!

ALL tips are very useful, though in this level it's so easy for Odus to fall losing balance. Many times I almost won, then suddenly by one switch, cascade effect, then fall of Odus...
